About Dr. Benedetto
Dr. Benedetto was born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin. She attended St. Catherine’s High School where she was a three-sport varsity athlete playing tennis, basketball, and softball. She spent many of her summers traveling playing fastpitch softball where she was the pitcher on the team.
She chose to go to Marquette University, majoring in biological sciences, where she was one of twenty students selected to be in the Pre-Dental Scholar Program enabling her to finish undergrad in only three years. After, she went to Marquette University School of Dentistry to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery.
After dental school, Dr. Benedetto moved to Chicago to start her career and worked in the Chicagoland area for five years. Dr. Benedetto is truly dedicated to providing her patients with the best care, which is why she is very invested in continuing education. She is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Lake County Dental Society, where she is actively involved on the executive boards of the organizations to advocate for the rights of patients and dentists in our community.
When moving to Chicago, she then met her husband Jon Benedetto, a Glenview native and fellow Marquette University graduate. The two were married in October of 2018 and currently reside on Chicago’s north side. They intend to move back to the north shore suburbs this summer to live within the community.
In her free time, Dr. Benedetto still plays recreational softball. She also enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants with her husband and friends, and enjoying time in Wisconsin with her family.
